How our studio came to be
Lotus Hot Yoga was founded to create a tight-knit, sacred space in our local community, not just to teach a variety of yoga classes, but to promote truthfulness, mindfulness and wellness.
A note from our founders
As a husband-and-wife team, we love yoga and all it has brought to each of our lives individually, as a couple, and now as business owners.
Josh's journey to yoga came through a friend's simple nudge to "just give it a try." Once he made it to his mat, that's all it took: finding time for himself, slowing down, resetting, and just breathing was exactly what he didn't know was missing. As a father, step-father and husband, it's important to still take time for himself: to fill back up, let go, find peace, and be better for those around him.
We each found our way to yoga separately, on our own paths, and then six years ago, yoga brought us together. From there, sharing a love for this practice and a desire to offer something different to our community, Lotus Hot Yoga was born. We hope you enjoy this practice, this studio, and all yoga can bring to your life, as much as we do.
Namaste,
The Turners, Brandy & Josh
Satya
One of the five Yamas, and a practice of truthfulness, staying true to oneself and your practice, leaving negative thoughts and judgment at the door.
